SIgh.
This one was a nice touring bike that I built from scratch from an old Shogun Metro SE frame with the help of Humanpowered Cycles, then located in Brunswick. Stolen from Rathdowne street Carlton on the 5th of April in the wee hours of the morning. A while ago now I know, but it's so distinctive I'm hoping someone will eventually spot it.
-Steel frame and rear rack, powder-coated green (the colour of park benches)
-white 'hp' and 'humanpoweredcycles.com' decals at the time
-21 speed with Shimano running gear
- 'zoom' stem and black mustache handlebars
-Red grips (Pro-Grip)
-cantilever red brakes
-Velocity wheels with reflectors on spokes
-Schwalbe Marathon tires
-black Velo saddle
-Potentially with two red toiga panniers.
Pictures (when it had mudguards and flipped handlebar arrangement):
