Stolen – 2007 Black Giant CRX 4 Stanmore NSW

Gday,

Some scumbag stole my 2007 Black Giant CRX 4 from my garage in Stanmore NSW. Although not the flashiest of bikes, it was my means of transport. A great commuter that has served me well. If you've seen it around Sydney or have any information that could help, it would be greatly appreciated. The link below is a pic of the bike with all the accessories that were on it at the time. Easiest way to tell if it was mine is the back tyre. It was different to the front tyre. Just click on the link.

Sorry to hear you lost your bike. I have not seen it, instead I was wondering if you have found a replacement bike to use?

Hi, no I wasnt looking to sell a bike. I just saw your add, felt bad for you and have a couple of spares here. Nothing flash, as they all need a clean/service, but far better than a supermarket bike.

Recently I had quite a number of bikes stolen from my place so I know how it feels. It's not nice and though it wont replace your bike, it will get you back on the
road again.

Yeah - coincidence that the gumtree ad went up the day after you posted to this forum... They've changed the back wheel to a MTB wheel, which is kinda strange.

Front tyre looks different, seat is different, handle bars might be different (Hard to tell)

yeah the seat and back wheel may have come off the same bike. I guess I could call and ask if he has the original parts.

Do you have the serial number of your stolen bike handy?
You could always go 'inspect' the bike then if it is the same, report him to the police.

Unfortunately no good news here. The bike hasn't turned up. Started looking at new bikes now.
