STOLEN: 2 x Gary Fisher MTB's - Rushcutters Bay Sydney
Postby markusm » Tue Feb 01, 2011 1:51 pm
Hi,
I'm posting this on behalf of a work colleague.
Somewhere between 24/01/11 and 31/01/11 2 Dual Suspension Gary Fisher Fat Possum mountain bikes were stolen from a garage in Rushcutters Bay, Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
These bikes hold great sentimental value to the owners. One is his and the other is his wife's. One is Vivid red and the other is orange. They are both fitted with Bontrager tyres.
A reward of $500 for each bike returned will be offered, no questions asked.
If you know of the whereabouts or see someone selling these a PM would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Both bikes found and returned to a very happy owner unscathed.
Apparently not knowing the value of these bikes one of them was about to be sold for $150.00
The owner was pleased to get them back and didnt call the cops, me, personally being a massive fan of capital punishment i would have found the urge to grab each finger and break it one by one too irresistable!

To cut a long story short they were left in a storage area of a building site.
When the owner was speaking to the site manager he noticed someone in the distance acting very strange, we knew it was a staff member of the building company. When the thief found out there is surveillance footage that we were about to watch he stepped forward and handed the bikes back.

That weasel is very very lucky. That's a major slap on the wrist compared to wringing his testicles through a meat grinder.
