Stolen – Giant Trance & Kona Kula – Newcastle

So my inlaws are visiting from Canada. I’ve did up some of our MTBs with slicks and stuff so they could cruise around Newy. On their first ride, they locked them up in the city today and they got nicked. Just happened today (12/31/2011).

They'll be easy to spot...they are kinda oddly spec'd.

Please keep an eye out for them. I've included some photos below, but they are a little out of date with some of the components.

Giant Trance 4
• Black, 16”
• Fork: low end Manitou
• Wheels: Mavic Crossmarks
• Tyres: Maxxis slicks
• Brakes: Shimano XT (2009 style). The brakes are setup Canadian style with the rear on the right side.
• Stem: Raceface Diaboulous
• Bars: Easton 30s
• Grips: Jetblack Blue things
• Rear shifter / deraileur: Sram X7
• Front shifter / deraileur: Shimano XT
• Crank: Raceface 5 bolt
• Pedals: Cheap plastic flats with cadges
• Seat: Black WTB


Kona Kula
• Orange and White, 19”
• Fork: Fox 32 with a remote lock out. Remote lockout is mounted upside down on the left (wrong) side.
• Wheels: nothing special
• Tyres: Schwable slicks
• Brakes: Formula ORO K24s. The brakes are setup Canadian style with the rear on the right side.
• Stem: Raceface Atlus
• Bars: Raceface Carbon
• Grips: ODI ruffians
• Rear shifter / deraileur: Sram X9
• Front shifter / deraileur: MRP chain guide
• Crank: Raceface 4 bolt with a single 36T ring
• Pedals: Cheap plastic flats with cadges
• Seat: White San Marco
