It was in the secure bike cage under the building

I work in the same building and my bike was in the same cage. I left about 20 min before the bike was stolen.

Not a govt building. The perp came off the street and cut the wire cage open with bolt cutters, leaving the door and lock untouched.

These cages seem to be being targeted at the moment. I am aware of at three others that have occured, one of which was also in the North Sydney area.

Police have CCTV of the offender from our building, but he was wearing a hat. The section of cage he cut has been replaced with a solid steel plate. Hopefully they'll do the whole cage in a similar way.
