Bike Details:
2010 Giant Defy 1
Blue/Silver/Black
Has different front & rear wheel
Dark grey Fizik bar tape
Some scratches and gouges on frame (once hit by car)
When and Where:
Keiraville NSW (Wollongong).
Most likely around Xmas 2017 (arrived home after New Year to find shared apartment garage door stuck open and the bikes gone).
Also stolen was my Cell single speed in orange & white (shown in the pic above).
Any help locating either bike would be greatly appreciated. The Giant isn't top end or anything, but it was riding beautifully after 7 years and many km together.

So I have the Giant back in my possession.
I got a call from the police a few weeks after the theft letting me know they had found a bike with the serial number I provided in the police report.
It was in a pawn shop in western Sydney. Took me a while with giving further statements and being overseas for 2 months to actually go and pick it up.
It's mostly in good condition, with a few more scratches and marks than it had before. Can only assume the clown threw it in the back of a ute with other bikes to take to the pawn shop.
In the meantime I had bought a second hand Bianchi which I think I'm going to keep, so I'll probably put the Giant up for sale soon. It's been on some adventures in its time...

There were two drugos on a bike stealing spree in Wollongong a couple of months ago.
They got caught on camera and police put it on their Facebook where they were promptly identified as minor celebrity street hasslers who were already well known to community and police.
Wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of recoveries due to them getting caught and questioned.
