Restoring dull paint

Was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have a frame from the 80's (or early 90's) that i want to try and freshen up a bit.
The frame is painted red and white and in very good condition. However, the red parts seem to of faded a little over the years, and you can see outlines where stickers used to be (ie. the paint is darker in colour where the stickers used to cover it).
Is there anything that could possibly freshen up the paint work? Some sort of polish maybe?
I'm a little concerned, as if i dont try to restore it, and it keeps fading, the colour may become pink instead of red

You could try one of the coloured cut and polishes that Supercheap/Autobarn/Repco sell.....just don't get any on the white paint.... or even try a basic (non tinted) cut and polish. Either way it should rejuvinate the paint a bit and will also protect it a bit with the wax that is left behind.... same way it can rejuvinate and protect a cars paint.

Is there a clear coat on the paint?

if the paint surface is still nice & smooth etc, its probably just the colour under the coat thats been affected... cant do anything in that case.

If its oxidised paint (dull & rough/chalky) then you can fix it, otherwise get some rattle cans.

Hmm, i had another look at it then and it seems to have a nice clear coat over it.
