Yes , i'm having some computer issues....
I'm having a TOPEAK COMP 150. (wireless)
After having it not used for a month i was getting incorrect speeds...
So i just assumed bad battery , so i replaced both battery's...
Resetted the topeak , and done...
No , not done...
The problem is consistent....
It doesn't work in the mornings on my commute..., but does work in the afternoon on the way home...
When the bike is inside , i spin the wheel...it works, i go outside riding...nothing
The only thing i can think off is the temperature...
So i tryd "shivers" putting the bike in the colder shed instead of the warm house...
But again, no speed on the way to work , bnut works perfectly on the way home...
Any ideas? , suggestions??

I've got that same computer, had it for about 2 years now, it works great for a cheaper computer. I did have an issue on hot (> 30) days if it was in the sun too long, it would go very dim and sometimes turn off. I had another problem where it occasionally turned off when I hit bumps, but found the battery contacts weren't great so gave them a good wipe and since then it's worked fine.
Your problem sounds pretty strange though, the fact it works inside and not out - perhaps some sort of interference?

ThX Guys.
It could be the lights...
They are on in the mornings , and off in the arvo...
(and off when is test the speedo by spinning the wheel)
I have two off them. so they could cause interference.
Wil try to adjust them in the morning...

Maybe try it now (or when you get a chance) and turn the lights on then off while spinning the wheel inside and see if it is the problem!damhooligan wrote:ThX Guys.

I too have a bike computer that was affected by my LED light. I have tried moving the light as far away from the comp as possible but still get interference when on flash mode. I've been told that some wireless comps use analog and are more affected, while those that use digital wireless are usually fine. Has anybody else heard this?

My Sigma BC-1606 DTS (digital wireless) drops out whenever my CREE LEDs are on flashing mode, low or mid beam. No problem when they're on high, until the batteries are almost flat and the torch starts to die.msavage8 wrote:I too have a bike computer that was affected by my LED light. You guys rock!!
I've been going insane with this computer. Speed is wireless and cadence is wired, so I ripped the cadence magnet and fitting off thnking I could at least get my speed/distance back, but obviously didn't help.
Just tested it now and problems start as soon as I put the light on flash.
Thanks
