Threaded stem for oversized bars.

Despite forewarning, a friend bough (cheaply) a set of bull horn bars that have the oversized 31.8mm clamp diamiter.

Does anyone know of a product/store that sell a threaded stem that will fit the oversized bars? Else he'll have to buy one of the threaded -> threadless adaptors & the stem.

offhand I can't think of any, though I'm sure Cinelli and ITM used to make one. Tell your friend to buy the adapter and a regular A-head stem, it will give him many many options for both height and reach adjustment (ie other stems) when he realises he stuffed up his positioning in setting up the bullhorns. Seriously.
