The co2 cylinders are fine for a 700c road tyre (with far less volume), can't see why they would over inflate a mountain bike tire with higher volume. In fact, I'd be more worried about under inflation (but I'm sure it works fine as long as the valve fits on the c02)

I was a co2 skeptic, but I never leave the house without mine any more - so much faster than a pump.

but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.

I remember researching this when getting a CO2 inflator for my wife. I found a site somewhere that gave the resulted pressure for a few various tyre sizes and found that a 16g cannister would get both my Road and MTB to pretty close to my ideal pressure. Found a site that suggests a 16g one will put 33psi in your 26x1.95. How close is that to what you run?
