Hi wondering if anyone can help me identify this bikeImage
I took the image from one of the a froum-ner's add, Zynster. so Zynster if u read this don't mind if i use your picture.
buying a similar model, but can't find any info from avanti's website. any help would be greatly appreciated!

its an avanti sprint. pretty old too
why not just read the add you took the pic from...or spend 3 seconds on google....http://www.avantiplus.com.au/products/AV590A011

the geometry is probably fairly similar to current models at a glance.

Threaded headset and quill stem - I'm going to guess late nineties, no newer than maybe 2001. Is it nine speed?

hmm i have no idea.. i thought it could be the 2002 model. so looks like its either a 2002/2001 model. anyway thanks drubie and scotto! appreciate the help.

Giant OCR's still had a quill stem till 2003, so yeh, my guess on this one is 2001-2003

I also have an Avanti Sprint. I would like to know the manufature year. The BB has the code D66K04389. Any gurus know if, how or where to decipher that code?
