I just picked up some slightly used American Classic 420 rims including skewers, tubes and Vittoria Corsa tyres
$400 complete which I was quite happy with.
I realise I am doing this the wrong way around but is that a decent deal? $890 rrp new plus tubes tyres?
I think they may have been hanging around in the shop or the previous owners shed for a while (apparently the original owner decided that he didn't want silver and traded them in for exactly the same rims in black 2-3 weeks after purchase ) but they are nice and clean no damage at all and are extremely smooth. I thought my DT Swiss were smooth but these seem noticeably better.
Can't wait for the group ride tomorrow (about 60km) to see how they go.
