Think who you're stealing from, not so much the publishers or distributors, but the blokes who wrote them and who get a pittance from each sale. If these were all old books, it wouldn't be so much of an issue, but some of these look current.Birdman wrote:tet tet tet always back to the legality of things...with the internet these days you can get anything.europa wrote:You do have to wonder how legal it all is - after all, I'm sure some of these are still on the market and if they'd produced and ebook version, it'd be for sale somewhere.

Honestly.
Just making the point about what you're doing. In reality, if the book is of any use to you, you'll buy it anyway. As opponents of ebooks have always said, it's hard to curl up in bed with a laptop ... and the same applies to trying to put your bike back together.

It's funny, on a similar note, the only music or CDs I tend to buy these days - is the stuff I've already downloaded for free and listened to a bit. I just don't buy the stuff I don't like and not likely to ever listen to again.
I still probably spend just as much as I ever did, pre the internet and advent of mp3s, it's just now I can be more discerning about what I dish out my hard earned spondoolies on.
