oh, well, I went as far as giving up trying to buy cages and bought a bag of 144 1/4" balls...used em several times

probably be worth doing the same with bikes with one piece cranks and the bigger cages, and the whatever size balls they are, im guessing 5/16"..might improve their efficiency a little too, even though the durability of the big cages is surprisingly good anyway..
