Old Suntour cassette tool

Postby guidogad » Tue Jan 29, 2008 12:55 pm

Hi!
Where can I find (or even buy  ) an old Suntour cassette tool.
Any ideas?
I think to get it off is one thing, to take it apart and service it another?
Cheers,
Guido

Don't s'pose you're in Adelaide? Failing that, try your nearest old-timey dusty musty local bicycle store. Good mechanics never lose their tools (so to speak).

Just go to a bike shop. I haven't had a problem either buying the tool or getting a mechanic to take a cassette off.

Thanks a lot.
Guess I should try another bike store then as the first one I've tried wasn't really helpful on the issue.
Cheers,

Out of interest, are you after the four tooth or two tooth version? My mechanic has both, I think he mentioned that they're pretty rare items nowdays.
