Different tubes???

Postby Schwinn-iinng » Tue Feb 19, 2008 1:17 pm

Forgive me if this is a stupid question  , but for the deeper, more areodynamic road bike wheel, are there different type of tubes. I know these rims require a longer valve stem, but is the tube different?

No, if you are using clincher tyres the tubes are the same apart from the need for a longer valve stem.

As long as the diameter of the tube and the length of the stem match the spec of the tyre and the rim.
