SIGMA BC1606L - Resetting Problem

Hi!

I've had a Sigma BC1606L bike computer for about 5 weeks now, and in the last week, it has started to reset when I clip the computer unit into it's housing. Basically the screen goes blank, and then it asks me to set the language setting - when I exit out of this screen, its all back to normal - although I did notice the clock also reset the last time it did this.

Its very annoying, and it even reset recently mid-ride, so I lost my kms up to that point, and its thrown out my total kms!!

Anyone have a similar problem or a suggestion to fix?

Try re-seating the battery. If that does not work, try a new battery.

I had this on my bc 1106 DTS which is on my MTB. Take it back to where you bought it, apparently its a common problem and they replaced mine there and then.

I've reseated the battery and all seems fine so far. looks like it was knocked loose inside and was disconnecting when I clipped it in, or hit any decent bumps.
