Trek 800

I have a Trek 800 and it has the standard fork. i want to update to suspension forks, what do i need to do and what parts do i need.

G'day mate,

Welcome to the forum.

It's not usually advisable to install a suspension fork on a bike built with non-suspension forks in the design. Doing so lifts the front of the bike up, placing more stress on the head-tube welds than it was meant to take. It also changes the steering geometry, possibly making the bike harder to handle.

You may find it will be cheaper to just buy a new bike too, since you'll not only need to get a new fork, but probably a new headset and front brakes too.
