I sold my rider 50 because it kept falling off, the mount is not as good as garmins.
I've had a rider 50 for 2 years, done 1000's of Ks offroad and on, and it's never fallen off.

I've had mine for a similar time, and it has never parted ways with the bike through thousands of off-road kilometres and several high-speed HPV rollovers. :)
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Mine hasn't either, But i'm to scared to put it in a HPV... I'd rather have a zip tie mount then the rubber ones as the rubber ones will come off if it's loosened due to vibrations

My dealings with Bryton:

Issue 1:
1. Never came with maps
2. Got the maps, They wouldn't upload properly (It would fail)
3. Bryton wouldn't help until they took over my computer and tried themselves (They still couldn't get it to work)
4. Finally send me a download link to upload directly to micro usb (Not going through bryton web)

Issue 2:
Heart rate monitor broke
Tried new batteries but it would only work for an hour before breaking again

Issue 3:
Bryton would no longer charge (Charging light would flicker on and off every millisecond)
- $20 postage to send it back to UK
Lasts about 3 months before it happens again

Issue 4:
No longer charges again, I send it back and get a replacement unit.
While it's being replaced I left my cadence/speed sensor on the frame.
Stick flicks up and it opens like a clam shell, Electronics inside fall out.
They won't offer a discounted replacement unless I send it back to the UK for the retailer to initiate it (I've already forked out $40 to post it back twice) Not worth another $20

Issue 5:
Receive back replacement bryton, Supposed to be a brand new unit
-It's a used one, It's scratched, It's in worse condition than mine was

Oh and
You can only have either speed or cadence with the speed/cadence sensor, Not both... You have to select it with the little white switch underneath the battery and it barely outlines this in the manual
