Cateye adventure not setting sensor ID

Heya,

Been using cateye adventure for the last few months with no probs, the speed started flashing which means the battery needs to be replaced in the sensor, no worries.

But after changing it and pressing the reset button on the sensor the ID is not being set which means the computer is useless to me atm :/

Anyone had similar issues? not sure what else i can do with it, its meant to be a simple reset button and thats it.

boo, ended up resetting the whole unit and the sensor, worked then.

Had a similar problem with the computer unit when my battery went flat. I was foxed for quite a long time. I misread the manual but eventually pushing the reset on the sensor it worked for me. Picked up the ID straight away then

yeah not sure what the deal was to be honest, manual says its just a matter of resetting the sensor but it did nothing so hard reset of the unit was my last option, worked then yay then just re-entered all the data.
