I've put enamel on an Alu frame successfully last year, but carbon is new to me - not sure if it makes a difference. Is there anything special about carbon fibre to know before I try to touch up the paint? Or should I let it go?

Any tips for touching up paint on carbon fibre?My Trek Madone got a few unsightly scratches last week on the top bar and the head bar while being transported, taking it from "pristine" to "well used" condition in a few minutes. Sigh
I've put enamel on an Alu frame successfully last year, but carbon is new to me - not sure if it makes a difference. Is there anything special about carbon fibre to know before I try to touch up the paint? Or should I let it go?
Re: Any tips for touching up paint on carbon fibre?I'd just use clear nail polish to seal it. I think that looks better than a bad colour match.
