Right angled seat post collar?Looking for a stem collar that is flat on both sides, so a "normal bolt and nut" could be used to tighten it. Sadly, the MacGyver setup for my Trek 2.1 with the rack isn't working at all, can't get any pressure on the seat post at all. Made for a very sad ride home
Re: Right angled seat post collar? You can buy seat collars with integral lugs for rack mounts. Not sure why but I'm thinking Abbotsford and Moruya cycles.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Re: Right angled seat post collar? So you are looking for a quick-release collar. They usually have external adjustment so need to be flat on both sides. Can be used with a bolt. I've done it.
Have a look at the hope ones for example. ![]() http://www.hopetech.com/page.aspx?itemID=SPG318
