Noobie mechanic type question

Postby sutty451 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 8:30 pm

Hi, have just bought a second hand set of Mavic Aksium (2011 model) for my roadie.
I want to fit a brand new ultegra cassette (10 spd) and have tried to do that tonight.....

I put the spacer onto the hub first then the individual cogs and spacers and finally the lock ring.
However, there is still a bit of lateral movement between the cogs which doesnt look or feel right (and certainly isnt evident on my current rear wheel).

Is there a wider spacer that you can put on first to 'pack' the cogs out a bit more....or i have i got something wrong somewhere.....
