Lowered brake track - carbon clinchersI bought a set of second hand carbon clinchers which have a lowered braking track. I need some brake blocks which will lower the brake pads to the brake track. Any idea where I can get a hold of some?
Re: Lowered brake track - carbon clinchersThat's pretty cool, wonder if there's enough extra drop to allow retrofitting 700c wheels to a 27" frame... ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Re: Lowered brake track - carbon clinchers![]() Beware. As these are offset bolted to the center of the brake pad and undergo large braking forces, one of them could twist under braking. If one were to suddenly twist and jam into the tyre on the front, it may not end well. If you choose to use them, at least keep checking to make sure the bolts are really tight.
