Adjusting Rear Derailleur

I just recently got a new derailleur hanger for my Fuji SST 3.0, mounted it, and now the gears are out of alignment. How do I get the derailleur back to neutral to start adjusting properly?

Hi rdwaltonut,
Not difficult if only minor adjustments required. Just get familiar with what each screw controls . Usually you will get simple alignment with the cable adjustment nut.(where the cable enters the system housing.)

It is important to align the hanger parallel with the wheel. I usually need to adjust a new hanger.

Done. The cable needed to be tightened. Crap, you need three hands to do that, I swear. But it is adjusted and I am back on the road
