Repairing chipped paint work

Another newbie here.
I have just recently acquired an early 1990s Hillman steelie (Reynolds 531 tubing) that has a few chips in the paint work.
The framed is painted in various colours...black, white, orange, yellow, green.
Seeking advice on best way to repair the chips (without a full strip and re-paint) and then protect.
