Need to service my pro-lite bracciano freehub just wondering what kind of lubricant to use on it. In deon's vido on youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FZeV3glmOI ) he says to use grease however i have used both a thicker boating grease and a thinner white lithium grease and i don't have great confidence in either. The pawls keep seeming to stick. So I was wondering what would be best to use a thinner grease again? less grease? also what would be best to make my freewheeling silent, no clicking at all?

I have read on a few occasions that Deon recommends Red Devil grease

I picked up a tube of the stuff for about $10 but you use stuff all so it will last many services. Very, very easy job to do.

Either Red Devil or Shimano Dura-Ace Grease are both fine. Red Devil gives the most quiet freehub.

Don't use a thick grease for reasons you've discovered. Clean it out real good with some WD40 and some rags before changing to different grease.
