Are these pads worn yet?

Just bought a secondhand bike. Just took the pads out...

I think they need replacing. No joke, the lump on the left is what's left of one of the pads.

Brakes were not working so assumed they are dead for the price I paid, so not too unhappy about this.

The one on the right might last a bit longer. :wink:
Probably a good idea to check for caliper damage if you haven't already.

geez, what does the disc rotor look like?

Surprisingly, the rotor does not look that bad, it is a bit chewed up but not much. The piston the pad on the left was on... well, I guess it was still working up until the above damage was done but I doubt it can hold a pad anymore, if it works at all. I need some new parts.
