So I've pulled my older 5500 brifters out for a winter bike project, to find that I've lost one fo the t-bolts that is part of the clamp band on the brifter.
It's the bolt on the right in the parts labelled '7' in this diagram on the Shimano tech docs site:

So, does anyone have one rattling around in thier parts box, or know of a good source for these small parts? I'll be hitting the LBS up this weekend, but I thought I'd ask here first

I lost my screw part ages from my 105 brifter ages ago.

My solution was to use the same size bolt that I had lying around from my old MTb rotors.
Im sure most LBS would sell the clamp's and screw assembly's all in one kit

That part is something that the older brifters dont use. They have a bolt in the lever, and the clamp band is a nut.

The part youre finding is prob best found at the LBS or eBay. I bought some 5600 levers for cheap, but missing a name plate and the clamp band and bolt. I'll be next in line for one if anyone has it.

I'll have a dig around, I may have what you need.

I am in similar boat for a pair of 5500 series brakes, in otherwise great condition. Lost one of the cable pinch bolts. Seems a different threading than all the other ratty, misc Shimano calipers I have in my spares box.
