Just wondering if anyone has had major issues with Campy Super Record EPS version 2?
I have heard different reportsfrom 2 LBS. I would live to hear any feedback as I am pretty keen to give it a crack.

I was going to try EPS, but after the issues I have seen on one bike. I decided on Sram Red 22.
Very happy i made that choice.

Unless it wasn't set up by a shop who know's what they are doing .... I would be going Campag every day of the week over SRAM anything.
A friend has just take delivery of his LOOK 695SR with EPS2 going from his Doggy with mechanical .. he said he will never go back to mechaincal again he is blown away by how well everythign works.
On the other hand , everyone that I know personally who have SRAM 22 have had nothing but issues with the front derailluer and changing

SRAM have good concepts, but the execution is crap, and they have continual reliability problems. Take your pick of anything from either of the other two.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

If the yaw derailleur is set up properly they will have no issues.Sith1 wrote:have SRAM 22 have had nothing but issues with the front derailluer and changing
The issues I have seen with is EPS weren't related to a set up. It was the f/d & r/d failing & then the power unit.

The YAW once set properly by the lbs work lose move and continue to cause problems on 3 different bikes that I know o.
If campy has a problem like that chances are its isolated

Thanks to everyone for their words of wisdom....
I am very much considering the swap to electric.

Have had SR EPS v1 (not v2 internal seat post unit) for 6 months now. Besides an issue with the FD which was resolved by adding the FD stiffener and a bent rear hanger, EPS has been awesome.
Shifting on the EPS is extremely smooth compared to ultegra mechanical (I have both). Whether it is worth the price differential - jury is still out for me.
