can anyone recommend a wheel builder? In Adelaide would be good, but if not, (i) in Australia, or (ii) anywhere else in the world. c r c used to do it but it seems no more.
And no, I'm not going to have a go myself. I've done quite a few over the years, but they've never been perfect. I'd prefer someone who does it all the time.

Closer, but still a long way from local, I'm in Melbourne.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Ask one of the shops in Adelaide who they use. Failing that, I use a bloke that lives about 1300 km from me www.xlr8wheels.com.au and it all works for me!
Merlin Cycles in the UK still does custom wheels too.

I've used Josh at XLR8 for a set too. Despite the distance forcing postage, still good value for what I had built.

I haven't specifically used BMCR for wheel building.
They are my go to when I need my bike fixed/serviced.
They do offer wheel building services https://bmcr.com.au/services/
Very friendly staff too, there was even a follow up email as to whether my bike was in good order after the service.
Edit: ps they did this fully custom build including wheels http://www.lavelocita.cc/profile/open-up
pps.. they are Adelaide based.
