Uneven chainring wear

Postby Mickey1980 » Sun Apr 01, 2018 2:35 am

Happy holidays everyone!
I was cleaning/restoring the old bike with Shimano triple crank and noticed that the large and mid rings are worn unevenly. The teeth are visibly shorter on 3 and 6 o'clock:

I suspect this is due to shifting from mid to large and back. Just wondering if these rings are salvageable or should be put into the rubbish bin?

Any ideas welcomed.

Looks like a normal arrangement of shifting ramps. New rings will probably be no different.
