Swapping SRAM cranks for Shimano

Hi everyone,

In my quest to rid my Salsa Fargo of the SRAM it came with I want to swap my GX(?) S1000 SRAM/Truvitav 2 x10 crankset with a Shimano XT 2x10 crankset.

There are no issues with the BB as I have a Hope BB so I can just remove the GX conversion from it.

Would there be any issues doing this?

Alternatively, could I replace the SRAM chain rings with Shimano chain rings?

Also any comments about quality? Am I wasting my time?

I have a 10 s sram crankset on my shim 11 s groupset works fine.
I've used sram rings on shim cranks too.
Don't see why it wouldn't work the other way.

Should be just a straight swap. I just went the other way on my trainer bike, although I had to change the Bottom Bracket, it was literally just pull out the Shimano crank and slot the SRAM one in. I didn't even have to change the FD alignment, as it was spot on.
