Tubeless Rim Tape - Stans
Postby Trevtassie » Sat Aug 18, 2018 7:56 pm
Just found out while I was noodling around on the net that Stans Rim tape is just rebranded Tesa 4289. Now I haven't found a really cheap source for that yet, other than Ebay, can get two 66m rolls of 18mm for $34 out of israel or 25mm out of the UK for about $73 for 2 rolls. But handy to know...

Big green shed has rolls of 'all weather masking tape' for 5 bucks. It's blue, plastic ,not paper and possibly Gorilla brand??
Plenty of videos on YT on how to slice it to your required rim width... it's been doing good service in some of my rims for over 2 years now since application.

Filament tape from officeworks works really well too.
