Cleaning grease/grime from aluminium wheels

Postby sir_camel » Wed Sep 19, 2018 10:03 am

I have a beautiful set of HED Ardenne + wheels on my Ritchey which have copped it after a lazy few months with me not cleaning the bike enough. The white decals on the wheels are now filthy. I'm swapping tyres this weekend and will be doing a full wheel off bike clean at the same time.

Does anyone have any tips for cleaning road grime and flicked off chain grease from wheels?

Try Rock'n'Roll Miracle Red.

I used it and it's good to remove grease and you can add water to dilute it.
ID please? What ID? My seat tube ID is 27.2mm or 31.6mm depending on what bikes I ride today.thanks...

Thanks for the tip. Helps working around the corner from Bikebug! Might pop down at lunch.
