roller derby, which from what little i could gather is like ice hockey without the ice, men, puck or sticks, but with all the other action (ie violence) conducted by youngish girls of dubious sexuality in minimalist shorts, tights and protective padding.....

Brilliant! Sitting behind your butt for 160 laps isn't that much of a draw card, but watching girls hurting each other is something else.
