Velodrome riders of the 1950"s
by mictm123 » Tue Jul 10, 2012 5:04 pm

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum, my Dad was a velodrome rider in Melbourne in the 1950's I'm not sure where exactly but he was born in either Brunswick or Coburg so I'm guessing he rode somewhere around these areas. I am wondering if anyone might have known him or remember him at all his name was Robert Lindsay Nettleton (he may have been called 'Bob') I am now in my late 50's and he died when I was in my early 20's so I didn't get much chance to ask him about his riding so if anyone remembers him I would love to hear from them. Thank you, Michele
