Hi All,
I've got my hands on an old track bike from Mt Hawthorn Cycles in Oxford St Perth. It probably flew around the old Mt Hawthorn Velodrome.
It's a beautifully lugged steel frame that was painted in mission brown with hand painted white pin striping around the lugs. Unfortunately the paint has seen better days and before I strip it down and paint it I was wondering if anyone know if it had any historical significance??? If it has, then I may keep it as is and ride it around as a "rat single speed".
Cheers

Don't strip the paint. It has to be really far gone to not be restorable. Post some photos.

This.
Especially for something of this Vintage. Whilst it may not have significance to most, I reckon some of the old trackies at Midvale would have something to say!
