Clarence st cup

Postby siennatrack » Wed Nov 04, 2015 6:37 pm

Anyone going this weekend seems like a great chance to see some old school Olympians in action and a classic Aussie track handicap and to cap all this off imagine if a half hour Madison finished the night for the NSW title .just dreaming

I was feeling really dead when entries closed and therefor didn't enter. Now I'm regretting that

Bad move Mike, you should never look at racing from that angle, because you can make improvements in short periods of time. Give yaself an uppercut!

I'm trying to remember which race I was did last year, this one?. They stuck me in the older group making it 5+ and I won every race including the ones I suck in, I was the only M5 rider. In hindsight they probably should of put me in the M1-4 race making it M1-5, I would of being about mid field

Nope. Haven't been able to work it out on the latest version. I'm running Android kitkat and whatever the latest tapatalk is.

Anyway, I had a fun night last night. I took 3 days off completely for my sore glute and then had too many beers at the club preso on Friday night so wasnt in ideal shape...

I was riding div 2, which is where I want to be. At the moment I'm just off the pace a little so am unlikely to win but am a fair chance of a top 5.
I made the cup final via the repecharge and was running ok in the final. I was pulling a turn on the middle group and about to more down the limit markets when one of them had a bike explosion - a dropped chain and lockup I think. Anyway, I swung high and stayed on the gas and ended up doing a double turn to stay out of trouble and keep the pace on which cooked me. I swung up and watched mitch bullen take the win by a country mile.
I snagged a third place in the final race, a mystery lapper. I snuck under geoff Baxter - I knew there was nowhere to go and I couldn't pass the front pair but it looked like geoff couldn't come off 3rd wheel and was riding high. It was all safe, just sneaky. :)

I'm feeling ok for the start of the season so just need to race lots. I rode 96" last night, which seems good for me on 165 cranks. Standing start was ok too although the glute is tender again today.

Just had another look and click on the curved arrow and it will open in another window and you will see the pencil in the square box.

Well done on beating Geoffery Baxter, he recently took some silver medals in the World Master Champs M5
