On a side note my ladies team of newbie track riders who I have been coaching won Silver in the All-Age Womens Team Pursuit which is a great result, up against hand picked NSW champions and interstate teams. My 4 are all not only from the same state but also from the same club (Illawarra). My lead rider broke 2 fingers before the start when a bike rack fell on her in the warm up but rode bravely as did the other 3. Im very proud of their commitment to training and their trust in me to set the schedule, gearing and race plan.
