Tubular track tyres

Postby rtnicho » Tue Apr 11, 2017 12:56 pm

Hi all
I've recently been given a set of tubular track wheels (Carbon Prolite Gavias). I know nothing about these weird beasts. I thought I may as well give then a whirl, but only for racing. Can you recommend tyres for them for a combo of outdoor asphalt and indoor wood. Also glue or tape?
Cheers
Roger

Do not use tape on the Track!

I run Vittoria CS Pista on my wheels at the moment and have raced on the boards and outdoor as well and I'm happy with how they cope. I will however, after they wear out, be replacing them with the next one up = SC Pista Evo.

Glue, well I use either contact cement of a Conti Pista glue, just depends.
