Oh and Allan Davis is making a return to racing at it. I haven't seen this young bloke since he was in nappies. His mother and father are/were friends of mine but lost touch after they moved to Townsville around 1978.

I've been too a couple of carnivals there and agree they are well run. Last year i only raced the one night and withdrew for 2 day. The numbers weren't there and a busted hack like me was only making up numbers. 1600m handicap and i'm giving 200m to blokes with bands on their jerseys meant my focus was to try and stay in front of them for 2 laps! Not the clubs fault, just a lack of support from southern clubs to bring numbers. Bundy do a great job with the juniors too - my girl has easily won more prizemoney that me! But she is a lot better
Watch turn 2 Foo, it's a funny one, seems to drag you up the track a little, but a guru like you will clean up!
Cheers
Mick

Haha, I've done many a lap on this Track back in the day.
The only thing that I will be cleaning up, will be the sweat off my brow.

A bloody fantastic weekend of racing was had.
I picked up a third in the Masters B Secret Scratch and a third in the Masters B Derby and qualified for the Masters A-B Keirin final, much to my surprise.
