Looks like a Lotus but without the ISP. Nice find!

Any more information about the frame?

Yeah, I found out it was actually modelled on a lotus z frame. It was made by a fella call David Lane who is no longer with us. I believe he rode it competitively for a while. He also made a couple of road frames which are yet to be found.
one nice bike.....

Serious? This bike is a unique custom built bike - guessing perhaps only one or two at most in existence! Modeled on the also rare Lotus TT bike.

Amazing bike most collectors would die for! Colours maybe over the top but a reference to the time it was built.

I have posted pics of my old TT funny bike in the retro section previously and I'm not sure how receptive owners of high-tech modern TT bikes are to this sort of old thing (maybe good for a laugh) but, here goes...

1985 Geoff Scott time-trial bike

It's had a Commonwealth games gold medal winner and an Olympic Games competitor as owners

A number of bikes were built in Sydney by Geoff Scott in '85 for an Auckland team, with my one being initially ridden by a guy called Ian Richards who went on to win gold in the 1990 Commonwealth Games team time-trial
It was raced successfully at national level from the mid-80's until the early 90's by the Southern Districts Cycling Club of Auckland. They were our country's top time-trial team of the day and at the time all the members of the TT squad had, or would go on to, compete at either world champ, Commonwealth or Olympic level

They were originally stickered simply as 'Geoff Scott', not 'Clamont' or 'Gefsco' as many of his bikes were - I plan on changing the decals on my bike when I get round to having it painted in original colours with the original spec Dura-Ace 7400 groupo

The action pics are not great unfortunately

Beautiful bikes guys. The funny bike and the lotus-like are exactly what I wanted to see when I started this thread.

I'm posting this because someone may know about it, but yesterday on the M7 I spotted what seemed to be a three wheeled TT bike! :o Or it was a three wheeler road bike with clip on bars??

I was going too quickly to get a proper look at it, but it was a rather unusual sight. There cannot be that many of them about...

3 wheeler with clip on's Chris. Two Cyclists use the M7 on Trikes, one is Steve Bastic, the other is the lady you saw yesterday whose name escapes me.Tim

You don't happen to know the brand of trike or where they got them by any chance? I harbour a deeply buried desire to get a racing trike :) .

Haven't got it yet.... but just pulled the pin on a Planet X Stealth Pro Carbon, I don't usually look at their emails but for some reason I did today  . Frame was 60% off ( last one in stock ) and for was also 60% off ... ok it is a red frame with a blue fork  . But for 300 Euros I can handle that!. First TT in a month if I can get it together!.
Will post pics of the "dog" when it arrives!.

Here it is ... One of the cheapest TT bikes around :-) .
Still fiddling with position... With the new rule for us really tall guys it is now legal!. Few things could make it faster but for now it will do. Probably run a shallower power tap wheel for the moment though.

My new 2014 Pico Crono:

Dura Ace 9070 Di2 group with internal battery
(Had to drill out the internal cable routing holes to get the Di2 cables through. VERY SCARY!)
Pro Missile bars
Fizik Arione Tri2 with carbon braided rails
Vision Metron 55 tubulars

8.2kg as shown.

My old Cervelo P3 in its latest form.

Most recent change was an upgrade from wired to wireless SRM. Still planning on swapping the rear Simkin Egg brake with an old AX centrepull as the back of the Simkin sits wider than the stays...

Now also need to slide the extensions back as my bars were set up with the shifter pivot at 80cm.

Yes the sifter end rule instead of pivot suits electronic shifting more.
