In short, the new UCI rule says you can go long with the extensions or forward with the saddle - but not both.

But have at the same time forced the extensions back as the max 80cm is now measured to the tip of the bar end shifters in their most forward position instead of the pivot point as previously... :roll:

Exactly. So either I am forced by the UCI to spend more money like I did when they enforced the basebar aspect ratio or have my position compromised... :roll:
