Hi Everyone,
I am very new to cycling, but am thinking about communting from Mornington Peninsula (Mornington area) to Dandenong.
Any tips? Best routes? etc etc Please.
Many thanks MrK

Puncture resistant tyres, pump/CO2 bomb, spare tubes and knowing how to fix a flat help.
Drive? your normal route with a cyclist mindset, note all the good and bad bits.
Do a few rides to work and back on offroster days at slowish pace to fine tune your basic route. It will evolve over time.
On your first day, allow plenty of time. Wouldn't look good to the boss if you were late.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
