That's my commuting done for the year - 5,225 km over 195 days. Happy days.

Lucky rider! Hope they thanked you for the tow.
2014 Merida Cyclo Cross 4
I am a Merida Ambassador - ask me why I love them enough to volunteer for this!
checked weather when I left work, 32 in the city at 39 at home. oddly didn't feel that bad but most of the hills are in the city end of the route. Sure was quiet though. Not often I leave right on 5 but I saw barely any bikes on the way home, even crossing kind street & Pyrmont bridge I only saw 2 other bikes
perfect weather in Brissy. pity I had to come to work. Only saw one other person commuting to work - we had a nice chat. Finally hit 13000kms commuting for the year. Only 1 goal left!
Wetter than expected in Melbourne this morning. I think I need to put some silicon sealant around my cleat bolts and around the cleat, I'm getting moisture ingested through the bottom of my feet.
Well done, jason!
I scraped through 15000km on Friday, with a few commutes still to come during the last few working days of this year.
Next milestone for me is 40 000km (once around the world worth of commutes), which I should hit sometime in early Feb.
Managed to miss the rain this morning, roads were damp, and it started pouring down after I got settled in at the office. Hope it dries up for this afternoon's ride.
Ahh, Melbourne summer...blink and you miss it..

obviously i got up too late this morning! left at 8am, checked radar online before leaving the house - rain looked like it was skimming above Melb - smiled - rode off - 5 mins. later it started raining and didn't stop for the next 1:20. soaked.
Ride home killed, but stayed of milton road, was doing well till i had to do the centenary highway bike path then onto moggill road up the hill towards kenmore then some stupid hill that goes to Kersley road, before the last to hills i was still averaging above 30 plus side it took less than an hour, cause of my weird ride time's I'm currently ranked 3rd in the Ralph 500, haha that wont last long:)
bed time, night night
did a 105km commute this morning. eat that gretaboy.
jason that's not a commute, that's just being silly
I may have taken a wrong turn or two. Some hills got in the way
Don't you hate when that happens!
seems to occur too often
finished the day with 127kms and over 2500m of climbing...and a unimpressed wife
biggest commuting day ever
Went for a late night xmas eve ride, very little cars on the road, lite shower of rain, nice and cool, beautiful.
I,m not quiet. I just dont plan murders out aloud.
Hardly any cars on the road on the way in this morning. The kids opened thir presents before I left so it was a short sharp run on the tt bike via the direct route. No breeze, no cars and a tt bike made for a fast commute
Would be awesome if it is always like no cars on the road.
I went for a quick fang round parra park this morning before all the family commitments kicked in. Hardly saw a car between seven hills and parra, and the weather was perfect!
Good on you isabella24. I am planning to ride too but the rain put me off grrr!
2 more commuting days this year for me. Hopefully I can ride more next year!
So much more pleasant without having to worry about getting run over.
Yep, I guess it will remain just our dream for now until the time the mining companies can no longer find oil deposits.
totally terrible ride in, had no mojo against the wind, couldn't wind up, nearly took me 1h 1/2 went the wrong way and did an extra 2-3 km's onto my commute in saying that i know have a route that's 35km's
Ride home was fantastic, had a blast kept the mojo up and did it with a 30 plus av
geez poohkies - you're smashing it
That's massive....I feel downright lazy doing only 70km....
To top off the guilt thing, I only commuted to work on Monday, worked from home on Tuesday - other than a couple of rides to by brother's place for lunches/dinners and some shopping with the cargo bike, the only thing I rode was my chair in the study
Back to it today, feeling mighty sluggish!
