Oh dear, I don't commute on a $5k CF bike, I wear a backpack, my bike has mudguards and I don't wheelsuck MTBs.

My question is, do I need to see Steve Hogg to be fitted for a forehead "L"?

I have had guys on full geared road machines riding my wheel while I'm on my mountain bike. I find it even more sad when road bike riders are grabbing my wheel in a 40km/h headwind when I've only got one gear. Too the guy who asked about racing in another thread.. unless you're really good with the gears, don't have a go with fixie's/singlespeeds on short inclines, you can't change gears fast enough.

"City Limits Sprint Sign" - excellent !!!

I remember many (many) years ago riding the Dry Diggings Track with three other MTB'ers, and we dropped into a road race group of about 20 on the Midland Highway near Mt Franklin and kept pace for a few k's before darting back off on to the dirt. They were focussed on the wheels in front, and the whirring of our tyres amongst them must have been bugging them big time, I reckon

I thought it was great. There's some other vids on youtube similar that are pretty funny too. I spent a good hour the other night going through them and laughing, but paid for it in the morning for staying up too late watching them...
