Beating the system - the cycling commuting section

Haha, I tried the knobby tyres for about two weeks before I stole the road tyres of my wife's bike, no way I could stand to do it every single day with that kind of rolling resistance. And actually, a while back I did pass a guy in his 40s-50s commuting to work on what looked to be his son's BMX bike. Seat was all the way up, and he was still almost kneeing himself in the face with every pedal stroke. Now that's commuting dedication.

Struggling to hold 7th now due to constant commitments that prevent me from riding. I had to transport a heap of heap of gear home last Friday so no riding, then today I had to drop the car off half way to work and pick it up this arvo, so only half my normal ride.
So much pressure on at work too so I can't tale any longer routes to add any kms as I never have the time.
Oh well still hanging in there.

OK just becuase you asked so nicely - I'll take Friday off - cycle the short way home and not ride to the shops over the weekend. (This has nothing to do with taking the Westab crew to Disney on Ice, having a cold, and generally feeling like death warm up )
Not fast, no style, but still get there.

At 1.24km/week-ish gain is should only take ~100+ weeks. See you in a couple of years Gotcha, all be it only because you haven't logged any rides for a week or so, but I'll take it

Cracked 4000 kms on Tuesday, and we cracked 100,000 kms collectively on the same day. Woohoo!!!
Then I came down sick and got the bus home and stayed yesterday. Feeling ok today but still have to bus in as my bike is at work -do'h !!!
Close to dropping a spot on the ladder as a result. End of this month we move buildings so the commute will be a few kms longer. Should help me hold on.

Logged two weeks worth of rides -finallly got a chance. It has been a couple of good weeks and I am on the edge of getting back on the front page.
Looking forward to a couple of extra long commutes to work over the next month as I try to loose a few kilos. It has been a lazy winter.

I thought you jumped up a bit. I have made it to 20th so need to do a few bigger weeks of commuting.
Can't see myself getting back on the front page though.

I think you can - there seem to be a couple of members who have stalled on the front page. Keep riding.

Dammit! LOL... Thanks, now working for me too. EDIT - nope, getting page not found error again when I clicked to view one of the workouts. Maybe it's just safari on the iPad. ?-| EDIT #2 - confirmed - same error from the Laptop (Windows + IE7).

Intermittent for me....it's ok again. Is useful as a tracking tool for my wife to know here I am when I am out on the MTB by myself.

I have had slight issues - then I changed my "favorites" login to ".....endomondo.com" and the issues went away. Login did take longer.
Also glad to be back on the front page - don't think it will be for long.
