The Sublimation-cyclist: Sublimation is the process whereby a solid turns directly into a gas.

A sublimation-cyclist has evolved to a point whereby they can readily transform themselves and their wheeled contraption into vapour. Hence their propensity to make seemingly impossible passes, scaring the crap out of those coming in the opposite direction (yes I am talking to you, the idiot from last night who decided to leap out from behind two peds near the UTS rowing club and “share” molecules with me).

I hate that bit. I actually reckon it has become more dangerous with the barriers. If you do walk (in cleats) and it's wet you slip on the painted bits and if you ride your tyres are all over the place. They could have put the barriers there without the paint.

talked with one of them lately. i said your helmet is bla bla bla. he said: "I know" with a very polite, cheerfull and reassuring smile. maybe there are some helmet which are way more comfy when weared that way
