I am still off the bikes ... since February 16 .... thought I might get the okay to ride again Thursday next week, but no have at least another week after that. I really need to put some effort into the physio exercises so I get the big tick :)

I had a couple of weeks off work due to frigging asthma. every winter it gets me and I go from ok and riding to work each day to barely able to get from my lounge to the bedroom. I hate it.

It was cloudy delaying the sunrise, and it was probably cold outside too... nearly two weeks with a car has corrupted 3-4 years of everyday cycling routine :(

Walk out to bike this morning thinking I'd better just check the rear wheel as the brake was grabbing strangely yesterday afternoon. Ah that 3cm crack in the rim with bulging metal is probably the cause. Might just be dropping that into the LBS onto the way to work then.

Today no riding - had to drop the car off to be serviced near my work. Will most likely have to ride to soccer with the youngest kid tomorrow so all is well but boy I missed riding today.
Not fast, no style, but still get there.

Rent inspection today; being an Officer of the Order of Grots I had some last minute stuff to do in the morning and ran out of time. Arrived at work, phone rings, inspection is canceled. ::hiss, spit::

Had a big ride in the wet yesterday morning. Went to grab my shoes this morning...they are still damp. So I stuffed them full of paper and caught the train.

Have to rush home at 0600 to take the eldest to the airport.

Mysteriously summoned to morning tea at the Kremlin by the imperial overlord ... They are probably mistaking me for somebody else but nonetheless I thought best to look snappier than the trunk bag's capacity would allow ... :|

I'm walking home after work, so I didn't ride. It's 9 km though, so I think that's a reasonable reason...
